In each of Archit's classes, I was given a chance to voice myself as an artist while having fun creating wonderful little worlds and characters.

This freedom of imagination is what fuelled me to take an interest in 3D modelling!

Archit's style of teaching always made me want to push myself and experiment till I reached something I was happy with. 😄

All the units I've taken under Archit in the last four years have been nothing short of eye-opening and have always pushed me to strive for the best possible output. While maintaining a very relaxed and friendly environment, he knows just how to push learners to achiever their best and exactly what resources to provide.

As a bonus, Archit is also very patient and has put up with four years of my constant interrogation in class. He’s also very fun to hang out with over watermelon juice. 

Archit is the kind of faculty who'll answer your panicked "I broke Blender" message and somehow make it feel completely normal to troubleshoot a 3D crisis at any time.

His classes are genuinely fun,  which, if you've ever opened Blender for the first time and felt your soul leave your body, you'll know is no small achievement. He has this rare superpower of making one of the most overwhelming softwares on the planet feel totally conquerable.

Patient, calm, and endlessly supportive; he made sure nobody ever felt lost in the void (literally and figuratively). Coming from a visual communication background, I can say he completely changed the way I see 3D worlds.

Easily one of my favourite faculties at Srishti. Oh, and one very important thing — the man runs on Mogu Mogu, so if you ever want to get on his good side, you know what to do. 🧃

It is evident that Archit has mastered the first two to three weeks of teaching Blender through his years of experience.

My class which had mostly first-time blender users got comfortable with the software quickly and seamlessly. He carries a silly demeanor in class which makes him all the more approachable.

The pace of teaching of his class worked wonders for me as I could grasp the concept and it kept me mentally energetic enough to go home and build more on what he had taught for the next class.

The class gave a comprehensive and basic exploration of all the major 3D specializations in just 4 weeks.

It has given me confidence with the software and the excitement to continue learning blender by myself which will be a powerful asset to use in my upcoming classes.

The best thing about Archit’s classes is that he always starts ground up.

No class begins without a clear plan, that tells us what exactly we’ll be learning and how.

I really appreciate the time and effort he puts into finding resources for us, and that he’s always willing to help when we’re struggling.

I especially enjoyed seeing Archit show us his own art, or give us live demos, because it’s not only inspiring but also informative about the process behind each piece, be it 2D or 3D.

I learnt a lot from Archit’s class, and I appreciate how he made even maya seem fun. ✨

Never really had a more relaxed, friendly, and flexible teacher while still getting the absolute maximum output out of his students.

Archit’s productivity and creativity inspires me to boost my own, while keeping in mind his main emphasis on enjoying the process.

His herculean knowledge on the design field and versatile art style might be mind-baffling, but is also a trail for us students to follow and learn.

I absolutely loved and enjoyed the class! I’m not someone who sits and draws everyday or even practices drawing everyday but your class has made me start doing it and I love it!

Your inputs in my work and everything you taught in class really helped me out and helped me understand where I could grow more as an artist.

Archit mentored me during my Masters final project and during that I learnt a lot about designing characters for games as he introduced me to a whole new perspective of how characters and world building go hand in hand and help in making crucial creative decisions.

Along with his useful insights, his anatomy knowledge and eye for detail helped me develop a lot of productive creation habits that helps my professional practice till day.

He makes you think beyond just making characters but a whole lot of story telling that is well structured and meaningful.

Archit is one of the best teachers I have ever had!

His step by step approach to teaching us Blender was exactly what we needed as students who were completely new to this medium.

He gave us a lot of tips and tricks that made our learning process easier.

In just one day of our 3D worlds class, we learnt how to model simple structures. Archit's way of teaching puts most other faculty to shame!

Bonus points: he is extremely cool and fun to talk to.

Archit’s class were structured very interestingly.

The activities given would be a very easy to understand and perfect way to get savvy with blender.

Following the tutorials he shows in class as well as mapping out all possibilities of certain actions while 3d modelling, made me very confident in using blender,

something I could never understand even after watching all the YouTube videos available.

Plus, he makes sure all the work is done within class hours which is great :)

I was with Archit for a two week workshop, and it was my second time using Blender ever.

While I had the basics down, something about the environment in his class made it feel like a comfortable space and very welcoming place to be in.

More than just learning about how to work towards the main topic of the class,

I enjoyed the smaller things that made it feel more like a friendly mentor was teaching rather than a strict professor.

Even after the workshop I still feel like can reach out anytime if I ever need guidance or help,

and definitely was one of my most memorable studios in Year 3.

Blender used to be extremely intimidating but through class with Archit,

I got to the point where I'm actually comfortable using it and enjoy it too!

He taught at a great pace and was always ready to explain the complex parts as many times as we needed to grasp it.

I learnt a great deal in the few weeks of class and got a great outcome, hands down one of the best teachers and classes I've had.

I Have had Archit as a faculty in a 3D Character Modelling workshop, and It was a real fun process working with him and learning from him.

The resources that he shared with us during class and the learning environment he created was truly unprecedented,

surely one of the best, and most productive classes I've had in the past 3 Years.

As a student of Archit's, I can confidently say that he is an exceptional educator who truly cares about his students' success.

His patient and nurturing approach created a learning environment where I felt supported and empowered to step out of my comfort zone and strive for greatness.

Archit never pressured or overworked me, but instead encouraged me to unlock my hidden talents and reach for new heights.

With his guidance and support, I gained valuable skills and knowledge that extend far beyond the classroom. I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from such an inspiring and dedicated teacher.

3D worlds was a great experience for me and an encouraging start for learning 3D modelling and animation.

Blender always intimidated me but as we were taught at a great pace and with lots of opportunities to navigate and get to know the software ourselves, It soon became one of my favourites mediums of art.

I was encouraged to try more new things after and a great point is the open helping hand even after class as I keep asking Archit questions even when my unit was done!

Overall I had a great time in class and really appreciated the way it was taught. Love blender and can’t wait to discover more of its elements!

The way archit helped us improve our character designing skills within just 8 classes is insane.

He taught us how to think of innovative forms and structures by making us do 1 hour activities and exercises.

My sketching skills greatly improved and the way I approach character designing also changed a lot due to Archit's teachings.

He also encouraged me to form a habit of sketching and observing everyday.

Although he has still not watched Avatar the way of the water, all of Archit's teachings are instrumental in my character designing process.

Hands down, the most valuable classes I have ever attended, Every session was filled with goldmines.

I still have some screen recordings from some classes that I refer some juniors when they ask certain doubts.

I've had 2 classes with Archit and both were very informative in terms of how things are done in the industry.

I did and learnt a lot in 2 weeks. He's always been thoughtful and given tips throughout the year even when I wasn't in his class.

Archit’s class was meticulously and thoughtfully structured. The great thing about that was the structure and timeline being shared with us right at the beginning.

That helped with identifying a clear goal and assured us that if we checked through each of the tiny goals lined up for us, we’d end up with a finished project at the end of class.

But the best thing about Archit’s class is that it allows each student to bring their own creativity to their project and customise the brief to their liking right from the get go. (pt1)

.. So while walking through the ideation process and learning the software, we’re coming up with plans and moving vertices of little objects within each of our own creative worlds. I think that also made the learning process more fun for me.

Archit is a great teacher and breaks down the software into digestible bits. We were also sent helpful resources throughout class and even after.

Archit also focuses on methodical documentation at each submission through the unit.

And if done right with all of his specifications, you’ll end up with a well documented project that can go straight into your portfolio!

From the day I took my first class in 3D modelling, Archit Vaze has been a wonderful and empathetic tutor.

His incredible skill in personalising constructive criticism and resources appropriately has made the steep learning curve of digital media art scalable.

He has been an important part if my journey to improve myself and will continue to be so.

I had the opportunity of being part of a blender interim in which we produced a short film called Metamorphosis.

I was a complete newbie to the software and this class took away all my fears from 3D modelling and helped me gain confidence in my practice by creating an extremely solid understanding of the basics of form and animation.

Archit is an extremely patient, knowledgeable and amazing mentor to have - even outside the classroom.

We even went on to win some accolades for this short film and I’m so grateful to have had the chance to be a part of it!!!

I was one of the students in Archits advance blender class who was an absolute beginner - didn’t have blender downloaded type beginner and I was terrified because I had seen what the output of his other classes were

and I never thought I’d be able to catch up to that but Archit was extremely inviting and welcoming and his patience with all of us is so comforting that it’d make you feel like you could do anything.

Archit sat through my million questions and irritations with the software, he made me go through the basics even tho that wasn’t particularly easy.

He gave me the confidence to make something on an extremely new and daunting software and he made me push myself to want to try more.

He’s so patient and understanding with us as a faculty not just in class but outside as well that it makes you want to just hear more of what he has to say,

and he won’t coddle you but he’d give you the confidence to figure it out on your own and sit with you no matter how many questions you have and that is something I appreciated a lot.

He is a great artist, and a wonderful faculty and there’s only always so much to learn from him.

Challenging, yet you keep coming back for more—Archit’s classes never disappoint.

He constantly pushes you beyond your comfort zone, balancing the intensity with his sharp sense of humor.

Always on the sidelines, cheering you on, he makes sure you never feel alone in the process.

Having had the opportunity to learn from him, I can confidently say that the role he’s played in my growth is truly immeasurable.

Archit’s classes are fun, exciting and sooooo inspiring! His passion towards the subject is infectious.

New topics, softwares have always intimidated me but his teaching approach focuses on the process and joy of making it through wonderful little conversions on ideating, process and inspirations.

It reduces the pressure of making a ‘Masterpiece’ at the end of the unit and accommodates a more enjoyable and rewarding learning approach.

My preproduction unit with him was so much fun and informative. Now thankfully due to his classes, I have become so much more accepting and curious of new learnings :)

(also his clear organised structure plan at the start of the unit is a life saver)

MA Unit: Pre-Production

I first had a character design class with Archit and that is when i got to know how well thought out his courses are.

He helped me with every step of the way, which is why most of the students have a good foundation in whatever class he takes, let it be pre-production, blender or concept visualisation.

Apart from being a good teacher, he is also a sweet and understanding person which creates a very comfortable space for the students to explore and learn.

As an added bonus, he makes an insane Vada-pav.

I really enjoyed how engaging and enthusiastic Archit was throughout the units,

trying to help out students at different levels of understandings, never made anybody feel like they were lagging behind or couldn’t learn the tools.

I personally felt like I explored the essentials of concept art in a way that i understood,

Archit helped me see something in my creations and turn into something crazy and interesting!

Archit’s class really shaped how I understand the importance of process. At no point was the focus solely on producing a visually polished outcome, instead, the emphasis was always on developing a strong conceptual foundation and having clear intention behind every decision.

He provided direct yet supportive feedback that consistently challenged me to improve. His approach stressed on process driven learning researching, iterating and refining ideas ultimately simplifying and strengthening the final result.

The class fostered a balanced environment that encouraged experimentation, but never without accountability. Within this structure, I was able to learn not only in technical confidence but also in conceptual clarity and critical thinking.

The learning from this experience continues to inform how I approach creative projects, especially 3D animation, which I am pursuing as my career focus goes here.

A Space for Hope

Having participated in two units with Archit, I can confidently say that I have never felt as satisfied and accomplished in any other educational setting. Archit's approach to introducing students to new software, initially daunting, instills confidence from the very first week.

His innovative techniques and creative flair serve as a constant source of inspiration, encouraging students to design and experiment with new found enthusiasm. Prior to encountering Archit's classes, I never envisioned myself exploring 3D units; now, I wholeheartedly recommend his instruction to all.

Archit's structured course curriculum facilitates seamless learning, with live demonstrations and immediate doubt resolution standing out as invaluable assets. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity for further classes or projects under his guidance in the near future.
